Frederick Gandolfo, MD received his B.S. from Fordham University, and attended medical school at SUNY Stony Brook. He completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Gastroenterology at New York University. He joined Gastrointestinal Associates of Long Island in 2012.
Dr. Gandolfo is a general gastroenterologist with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, resection of large or difficult colonic polyps, and quality indicators in colonoscopy. He publishes frequent articles on topics in gastroenterology on his educational website Retroflexions and for the journal Gastroenterology and Endoscopy News.
